When the Liverpool Central School District introduced its Strategic Plan earlier this school year, it unveiled the district’s priorities and goals for the next five years. One of those goals is communication.
As part of the strategic plan, one of the district’s priorities is to keep stakeholders engaged and informed by utilizing relevant and meaningful ways to communicate the district’s mission, vision and beliefs, while also providing the community with an understanding and awareness of activities taking place in the district.
Over the last few years, the district has introduced several new avenues of communication including a redesigned Web site, district App, district Facebook page and the SchoolMessenger system.
At the end of January 2016, the district will add a new e-newsletter to the growing communication structure.
At its start, the e-newsletter will be sent out bimonthly, however the district may consider sending the e-newsletter more often depending on the success of the first few issues.
Stakeholders must sign up to receive the e-newsletters by visiting the Constant Contact form and providing the requested information.
Subscribers can revoke permission at any time by using the “SafeUnsubscribe” link found at the bottom of every e-mail.
