COVID-19 Update: School to Remain Closed for Rest of School Year
Friday, May 1, 2020 -
Dear Liverpool Central School District Parents and Guardians,
Earlier today, Governor Cuomo announced another extension of our school closure, which will now continue to the end of the 2019-2020 school year. As such, the Liverpool Central School District will continue to support students with continued instruction, nutrition, technology and support through June 26.
In addition, Governor Cuomo announced that a decision will be made regarding summer school programs by the end of May.
Over the next few days and weeks we will share additional details regarding what the rest of the school year will look like, especially as it relates to Liverpool High School seniors.
Updates regarding these topics and much more will continue to be shared with you via SchoolMessenger and the LCSD Web site (http://www.liverpool.k12.ny.us).
I just want to thank you for your patience and understanding throughout this unprecedented situation. This has not been easy for any of us and I can’t tell you how proud I am of our students, families, teachers and staff for how they have adjusted to this new reality.
Dr. Mark F. Potter
Superintendent of Schools
