Grants Help LCSD with Infrastructure Upgrades
Tuesday, June 20, 2017 -
Over the last few years, the Liverpool Central School District has made several infrastructure upgrades thanks to help from New York State Assemblyman Al Stirpe.
Stirpe recently visited the District Office and Liverpool High School to see the results of these upgrades, which include new directional signage for visitors to district schools, a landscape beautification project at the DO, and the renovation & redesign of the district’s Data Center at LHS.
At the District Office, members of the LCSD Buildings & Grounds Department were on hand to speak with Stirpe about the work they did to replace crumbling sidewalks and install additional walkway lighting near the building’s entrance. Stirpe then visited LHS where members of the LCSD Technology Department spoke about how the Data Center’s improvements have helped support the many computers systems and components the district utilizes on a daily basis.
All three projects were made possible through State and Municipal Facilities Grants secured by Assemblyman Stirpe.
