LBE Students to Participate in Art Exhibit at Beaver Lake
Wednesday, April 5, 2017 -
Works of art created by Long Branch Elementary fifth-graders Angela DellaVella, Gabriella Jenkins, Ava Rigley, Brianna Golley and Riley Phillips have been selected for a special exhibit celebrating the artistic achievements of elementary level students.
Throughout the month of April, visitors to Beaver Lake Nature Center can enjoy the “Student Art – Naturally” exhibit, which features a variety of work related to nature themes including animals and landscapes. The artwork includes paintings, drawings, prints, collage and more.
An opening reception will be held April 9, from 5 to 6 p.m., to honor the young artists. Each student will receive a certificate and ribbon in recognition of his or her participation in the show.
“Student Art – Naturally” is organized annually by the Central Region of the New York State Art Teachers Association in cooperation with Beaver Lake Nature Center.
