LHS Musicians Perform with Greater Syracuse Honors Youth Symphonic Band

On September 23, twenty-two Liverpool High School students performed as members of the Greater Syracuse Honors Youth Symphonic Band during a concert in the Setnor Auditorium at Crouse College on the Syracuse University campus.
Performing with the Greater Syracuse Honors Youth Symphonic Band were junior Elizabeth Gass, junior Mykenzii Kline, sophomore Bryce Santos, junior Amanda Richards, senior Madison Neuner, sophomore Kaia Lisi, junior Dominic Fico, junior Benjamin Hemmers, senior Salvatore Saunders, sophomore Jonathan Engler, sophomore Jack Carter, sophomore Lucas Thompson, junior Joshua Foley, sophomore Ian Hallenbeck, junior Mia Spano, junior Kelly Mahan, senior Annelise Francey, sophomore Hayley Saint Amour, sophomore Joseph Little, sophomore Zachary Phipps, sophomore Connor Wood and sophomore Kishawn Harris.
For the past 15 years, the Greater Syracuse Honors Youth Symphonic Band and the Greater Syracuse Honors Youth Wind Ensemble have provided a unique opportunity for the most outstanding wind and percussion students from Central New York high schools. The groups rehearsed on four Sunday afternoons this fall, culminating in the final concert performance on September 23. Students are nominated by their high school band directors and are among the finest musicians from their respective schools.
