Friday, September 16, 2016 -

On September 16, the annual “Ride for Missing Children” visited four Liverpool Central School District buildings - eerideformissing1Elmcrest Elementary, Liverpool Elementary, Morgan Road Elementary and Chestnut Hill Elementary.

Students and staff greeted participants with cheers and homemade signs, while riders had the chance to thank them for their support and encouragement.

The ride, which benefits the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children/NY Regional Office (NCMEC/NY), featured more than 100 seasoned and beginner cyclists making a 100-mile bicycle trek around Syracuse and Central New York. Funds raised help support the organization’s efforts to recover missing children and offer free prevention education programs in schools and community groups across the Syracuse region.
