Three LHS Students Qualify for State Math League Competition

For some Liverpool High School students, math is as easy as pi.
LHS recently sent four teams to compete during the annual Onondaga County Math League Competition. Its top team, known as the LHS Mathletes, finished third overall (out of 72 teams).
In addition, three team members – senior Stephen Wong, senior Shuting Lu and junior Dan Polhamus - placed in the Top 30 individually and qualified for the New York State Math League Competition to be held at Syosett High School on April 25.
In all 950 students from across Central New York competed in the Onondaga County Math League this year.
