UPDATE: Suspicious Person in Liverpool Area
Tuesday, June 25, 2019 -
UPDATE: New York State Police have investigated this morning’s incident and concluded that the individual legitimately works for Southwestern Advantage, a company that sells educational resources. While he does have a legal permit to solicit sales door to door, he does not work for or with the Liverpool Central School District as he has claimed. He also claims the district provided him with a list of its students, which is not true.
Please be advised that there is an individual stopping at Liverpool Central School District homes (especially in the Chestnut Hill Elementary area) claiming to work for the district and looking to evaluate kindergarten students.
The individual is described as a male in his late 20s or early 30s wearing a blue top and khakis and driving a late model green Acura with non-New York State license plates. He claims to be working with Southwestern Advantage.
This individual DOES NOT work for or with the district. The New York State Police are investigating. Please do not let this individual into your home and call the police immediately if he visits your home.
Please share this information with your neighbors, especially those that may not have children attending our schools.
