At the start of the 2012-2013 school year, the Liverpool Central School District implemented a new web-based student management system called SchoolTool (https://liverpool.st.cnyric.org/schooltoolweb/).
This new system has assisted the district in managing its student data, which includes student contact information, attendance and report card grades.
SchoolTool also includes a Parent Portal that will increase parent-teacher communication and will enable parents/guardians to review information regarding students and their progress.
Elementary parents will have access to the following information when they use the Parent Portal:
- Basic Contact Information
- Attendance Information
- Discipline Information
- NYS Testing Information
- Report Cards (November 2012)
Middle school and high school parents will have access to the following information when they use the Parent Portal:
- Basic Contact Information
- Attendance Information
- Discipline Information
- NYS Testing Information
- Progress Reports
- Schedule
- Assignment Grades
- Report Cards (November 2012)
Parents also will have the ability to e-mail their child(ren)’s teacher(s) through the Parent Portal.
How Do I Log In?
To access your child(ren)’s information, please follow these steps:
1. Go to the district’s Parent Portal Web site at https://liverpool.st.cnyric.org/schooltoolweb/. Don’t forget to bookmark this page.
2. On the SchoolTool page, your username is the e-mail address that the district has on file in SchoolTool under “Basic Contact Information” (if you do not have an e-mail address on file with the district, please contact your respective building(s) to add an e-mail address to your contact information).
3. The password for the first log in will be e-mailed to parents on or about October 1. This is the only time you will use this password. Once you log in, you will be directed to create a new password that you will use on all future log ins. In the event you forget your password in the future, you can reset it by clicking on the “Forgot Password” link.
4. After you log in, you also will be asked to verify that your basic contact information is correct. If anything is incorrect, or changes at any time during the school year, please contact your respective buildings to update it.
5. Once that is complete, you will be able to review your child(ren)’s information.

Lost Your Password?
1. Go to the district’s Parent Portal Web site at https://liverpool.st.cnyric.org/schooltoolweb/.
2. Enter the e-mail address you have in file with the district into the "Username" box. Leave the "Password" box empty and click "Login."
3. Below the "Login" box you will see the words "New User or Forgot Password?" Click on those words.
4. Follow the directions and a new password will be e-mailed to you.
5. If that still does not work, contact the Technology Department at 622-7121.
