Food & Nutrition Services Program

Breakfast and lunch are served in all Liverpool Central School District schools. A Food Service packet (including Free and Reduced Meal Applications) will be sent home with all students on the first day of school. You also can download a Free and Reduced Meal Application by clicking here. If you feel you may be eligible, fill out the application, which is confidential, and return it to your child’s school. If you need assistance, call the Food Service Office at 622-7172. Applications can be filled out at any time throughout the school year.

The monthly menu will be posted on the District Web site. High school students also will have access to menus at their school.

The Liverpool Central School District is in compliance with the mandated federal nutrition standards, including The Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010*, as part of the National Lunch and Breakfast Programs for the  school year. At no time is any food item deep fried. All food is either baked, steamed or boiled. Turkey hot dogs are used and the mozzarella cheese used for pizzas is low fat. All milks offered also are low fat/skim or fat-free. Lactaid is available for students if desired. Peanut or any other food allergies must be reported to the building nurse. Students are asked to order their complete meal selection at the beginning of the serving line. Please review the menu and food item choices with your child daily.

Breakfast will be FREE for all students in grades kindergarten through 12.

The Food Service Department uses the “MySchoolBucks” cash register system. Each student will be able to access their personal account using their individual pin number. Students may pay with cash or a check in any dollar amount (please make checks payable to Liverpool Central School District). Individual accounts can be used for meals, extra entrees, milk or snacks. Prepayment is highly suggested to assist with a speedy transaction.

Parents can make payments using the MySchoolBucks Web site at www.myschoolbucks.com. For more information, visit www.liverpool.k12.ny.us/foodservice.

* All students will be required to take either a fruit and/or a vegetable at lunch for a complete meal.
