In mid-July, the New York State Education Department and the New York State Health Department provided school districts across the state with guidelines for reopening schools in September 2020. After careful review of these guidelines, the Liverpool Central School District has determined that a HYBRID LEARNING MODEL is the best option to address health and safety concerns for our students and staff.
What does this mean?
On pre-determined days, some students will learn remotely while others will learn in school. This will allow Liverpool Central School District students and staff to get back into their classrooms while continuing to follow social distancing guidelines.
The hybrid learning model is subject to change and dependent on the Governor’s approval.
A student’s assigned group will be announced the first week of August 2020. Considerations are being made to keep families on the same learning schedule.
