After one of this year’s candidates for the Liverpool Central School District Board of Education informed the district that they were on longer able to continue with their candidacy, the district reopened the petition process to see if any other candidates were interested in running for the Board of Education. The deadline to submit petitions was last evening (May 10) at 5 p. m.
The Liverpool CSD Board of Education candidates that will appear on the May 17 ballot are now (in alphabetical order):

The annual Liverpool CSD Budget Vote and Board of Education Elections will take place on Tuesday, May 17, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Wetzel Road Gymnasium.
Those still wishing to register to vote can do so by visiting the Onondaga County Board of Elections Web site.
Qualified voters who will be away from home or are otherwise unable to vote in person may vote by absentee ballot. Residents can pick up absentee ballots in Room 1 of the District Office (195 Blackberry Road). To obtain an absentee ballot application, or for more information, contact the Office of the Deputy Superintendent at 315-622-7148. The District Clerk must receive absentee ballots no later than 5 p.m. on the School Budget Vote Day (May 17).
