Introducing the Liverpool Foundation for Education

Looking to reinforce the community’s support of the Liverpool Central School District, a group of Liverpool community members is launching the Liverpool Foundation for Education.

The Liverpool Foundation for Education is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization that will raise funds for educational grants within the Liverpool Central School District. The foundation seeks to become a significant partner in the education of students in the district by:

  • Creating & supporting relationships between the community, the school district, and alumni
  • Raising funds to provide learning opportunities for students, staff, and teachers
  • Awarding grants for innovative STEAM projects
  • Awarding in-school student scholarships
  • Encouraging excellence through creative teaching and enrichment opportunities and initiatives
  • Supporting professional growth of school staff
  • Facilitating school – community - business partnerships

The Liverpool Foundation for Education will kick off its efforts with an evening of fun at the Home Team Pub (Route 57 in Liverpool) on Friday, June 11, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Stop by to meet Liverpool Foundation for Education members, purchase Liverpool Warrior apparel (you can check out the apparel selection or make a purchase here) and sign up for the foundation’s inaugural golf tournament.

There also will be a 50/50 raffle and attendees can enter to win a wooden flag created by Wood Path Acres Woodworking of Liverpool (learn more here).
