Liverpool CSD's 30 Day Bias Buster Challenge

Over the last two years, members of the Liverpool Central School District community have been meeting as a committee to discuss topics related to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Known as the LCSD Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, the group is devoted to creating a highly inclusive school community where all students, staff and families are provided equitable opportunities and believes multiple expressions of diversity are seen as assets for teaching and learning.

Starting today, the committee is kicking off its 30-Day Bias Buster Challenge. Over the next month, we encourage members of the Liverpool Central School District community to self-reflect on what diversity, equity and inclusion means to them. The daily prompts or questions included in the challenge calendar can be used to guide discussion and conversation within your home, classroom or workplace.

At the end of the challenge, the committee will conduct surveys specific to four stakeholder groups – Families, Staff, High School & Middle School Students, and the Community.
