During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Liverpool Central School District updated its strategic plan for the 2021-2025 school years. Unlike previous strategic plans, the pandemic made it difficult to gather a large group of stakeholders so they could share their input regarding the plan and the district’s goals.
I truly believe it is important to give the school community an opportunity to share their thoughts on topics such as the strategic plan, district curriculum, student data, and general community concerns.
Over the summer, the district's Executive Team began preparing action steps and SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound) goals to help make the strategic plan come to life within our school community.
Now that these action steps and goals are completed, the district will hold forums that will provide the community with an opportunity to come together in an effort to create a common understanding of what the district is trying to accomplish, as well as share feedback. The goal is to align this plan with community values that continue to evolve not only in our school community, but at the state, country and world level.
The Liverpool CSD Executive Team will host four one-hour community forums during the month of October. Families are enouraged to attend the community forum in their school quadrant, but can attend any forum if a different date and time better fits their schedule. High school families can attend any of the forums.
- October 17: Morgan Road Middle at 5:30 p.m. (Central Quadrant)
- October 19: Liverpool Middle at 6 p.m. (Village Quadrant)
- October 26: Chestnut Hill Middle at 6 p.m. (South Quadrant)
- November 1: Soule Road Middle at 6 p.m. (North Quadrant)
"We hope you can join us to hear more about our current strategic plan and provide us with valuable feedback so we can apply it to our plan moving forward," said Liverpool CSD Superintendent of Schools Daniel G. Henner.
