Principal's Message

Brett Woodcock

Dear MRE families,

Hello, my name is Brett Woodcock. As principal of Morgan Road Elementary School I hope to establish a working relationship that centers on what is best for your children and their education. Forming a collaborative, supportive, and nurturing environment should be a mutual goal.

I graduated from Liverpool Central Schools and received my formal education from Le Moyne College, SUNY Cortland and SUNY Oswego. My professional career began at Long Branch Elementary School in kindergarten and for nine years I taught grades kindergarten, five and six at Nate Perry Elementary School. This school year is my eighth year at MRE.

In the past few years all educators in New York State have been faced with a number of changes as a result of mandates from the New York State Department of Education. These changes are all designed with the intention of making our educational system better for your children. I am excited to be a part of these changes and the opportunity it provides to lead the wonderful staff and students at MRE in the 21st Century!

Please feel free to contact me here at school with any questions or concerns you may have. I look forward to meeting all of you individually and working with you to make your child’s educational experiences the best they can possibly be.

Respectfully,

Respectfully
