Work continues on the Liverpool Central School District’s Education 2020 capital project, which was approved by voters in March 2022, and reauthorized in May 2023.
Currently site work is nearing completion at Long Branch Elementary and the Transportation Center.
Last week at LBE, the focus was to finish up final grading, as well as add topsoil to the areas adjacent to new paving, sidewalks, fencing and other spaces. Seeding, mulching, and watering those areas also took place.
Workers are still waiting for the new overhead doors to be delivered to TC.
This week, we anticipate that fencing and gates will be installed in a few remaining spots, including the outdoor classroom area. We also anticipate trees and plantings to take place on the property.
