Pre-K Program

The Liverpool Central School District offers a Pre-K Program Children Playing on Matfor four-year-olds.

To be eligible for the 2024-2025 school year, a child must:

  • Have a birthdate between December 2, 2019 and December 1, 2020
  • Reside in the Liverpool Central School District

This program is partially funded by a state grant and is subject to the passage of the New York State budget. If your child qualifies for the program and is given a seat through our random lottery numbering system, he/she will be enrolled at one of the following sites. All programs are five days a week and follow the Liverpool Central School District calendar.

County North Children’s Center, Inc. (205 School Road, Liverpool, NY 13088)

Full Day:  8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Instruction is consistent with New York State Pre-Kindergarten learning standards which focus on a child’s social/emotional, cognitive and physical development.

Transportation to and from the program is the responsibility of parents/guardians and students must attend the program five days a week to maintain their seat.

The Liverpool Central School District does not provide transportation.

Those interested in having their child attend the Pre-K Program for the 2024-2025 school year must complete the steps listed below.

  1. First complete the Pre-K Interest Form found HERE.
  2. Then complete the Online Registration piece HERE.
  3. Finally, submit your documents to the Registrar electronically HERE or call our Registrar’s office at 315-622-7193 to set up an appointment to bring in the documents needed to complete your child’s registration. Your registration is not complete until the Registrar has all of the documents listed below:
    • Proof of Student's Age (examples of one of the following suitable documents)
      • Birth Certification (certified transcript of a birth certificate)
      • Record of Baptism
      • Passport
    • Complete/Up-to-Date Physical and Immunizations (Must be Signed by a Medical Doctor)
      • Not transcribed in a record (N.Y.S. Requirement)
      • Your child's latest physical is required to complete registration for the following grades: EPK, K, 2, 4, 7 and 10.
    • Proof of Residency (provide two of the following documents to establishing your physical presence in our district)
      • Signed Lease or Mortgage Statement
      • Landline Phone Bill
      • Cable Bill or Internet Bill
      • Gas/Electric/Water Bill
    • Parent Photo Identification
      • Driver's License
      • Passport
    • Custody Papers (if applicable)

Families who have completed the interest form and completed the above registration process by midnight on April 7, 2024, will be part of a random lottery numbering system.  

Acceptance into the program is NOT on a first come first served basis.  

Families receiving a number beyond the seats available, will be placed on a wait list. Registrations received after midnight on April 7, 2024, will not be included in the lottery. Completed registrations after the lottery will be added to a waitlist and parents will be notified if/when an opening occurs.  

There are a limited number of seats in the Liverpool Central School District Pre-K program. Unfortunately, not everyone will get a seat in the program.   

Early May: Families who were entered in the random lottery process will be notified if their child has a seat or has been placed on the waiting list. Families placed on the waitlist will be told where they are on the waitlist.

Early June/July: Families of students who have a seat in the program will be notified of their Pre-K site and the hours of the program.
