Work continues on the Liverpool Central School District’s Education 2020 Capital Project, which was approved by voters in March 2022, and reauthorized in May 2023.
Currently site work is nearing completion at Long Branch Elementary and the Transportation Center.
Workers planted 12 trees (six Birch and six Maple) between Brookdale Senior Living and the LBE Playground. In addition, artificial turf was installed for the new outdoor classroom located between two of the school’s kindergarten classrooms. The space will allow small groups or classes to go outside while staying under cover in the event of rain.
The district anticipates the first phase of Education 2020 Capital Project will be completed by the first week in October.
