Have an instrument at home that you no longer play? Why not donate it?
The Liverpool Central School District is always in search of band and orchestra instruments in good playing condition. Each year, we have students who are unable to participate in our instrumental program because their families do not have the financial means to pay for monthly or yearly rental fees.
We would be happy to provide a new home for an instrument that is collecting dust in your closet or basement. Your generous donation would be put it into the hands of a youngster who is anxious to join our program!
VITAL, our LCSD arts support group, can provide you with a donation form to document your generosity as a tax-deductible contribution if desired.
We will accept flutes, clarinets, oboes, saxophones, bassoons, trumpets, trombones, french horns, baritones, tubas, percussion instruments, violins, violas, cellos and basses (we are sorry, but do not have a need for any pianos, electric keyboards or home organs).
Have an instrument to donate or have questions? Please contact Fine Arts Director Adam Shatraw at 453-1500, x6929 or contact him by email.
