LCSD Celebrates Official Opening of LHS Fine Arts Wing

Students Cutting Ribbon

The Liverpool Central School District recently celebrated the opening of the Liverpool High School Fine Arts Wing with a special ribbon cutting ceremony at the school. The renovation project is 97 percent finished, with a few minor items left to be completed in the coming weeks.

The work, which was part of the Liverpool Central School District’s Phase Three Project, was approved by voters in July 2016 and then again in December 2018.

The updated fine arts wing includes auditorium improvements & expansion, stage lighting & sound renovation, and additional fine arts storage.

“This space rivals what you will find on many university campuses,” said LCSD Director of Fine Arts Adam Shatraw. “You will see the spirit of the arts at Liverpool and the commitment by those in our community to foster that spirit to allow it to grow and flourish.”
