Grade 3 Supply List

  • 2 boxes of Ticonderoga or USA Gold #2 pencils (sharpened if possible)
  • 2 large erasers
  • 1 box of Crayola crayons (24 count) and/or colored pencils
  • 1 large glue stick
  • 1 pair of Fiskars child scissors
  • 1 two pocket heavy plastic folders (blue)
  • 1-4 pack  thick black Expo dry erase markers
  • 1 whiteboard eraser (or old sock)
  • 1 set multiplication flashcards (Dollar General usually sells them)
  • 1 Art smock (or old oversized t-shirt) please label
  • Water bottle (squirt top only)
  • 1 set of headphones (Technology is a great way to engage students in the learning process! At MRE, 3rd grade students are assigned their own Chromebook to use throughout the school year. Neither the school nor the teachers provide students with headphones. Therefore, each student must have their own pair of over-the-ear wired headphones to keep in school. Due to sanitary reasons, we do not let students share headphones. In years past, earbuds did not seem to be very durable. The earbud wires get tangled and broken, and do not fit properly inside students' ears. Also, Bluetooth headphones are not recommended because they will need to be charged at home. Walmart, Target, and 5 Below all have affordable pairs of over-the-ear wired headphones. Sony MDR-ZX110 Wired On-Ear Headphones (found at Walmart) has been proven to be quite reliable)
